I was looking for a summer activity for
Mikhaila when I stumbled upon McDonald’s Kiddie Crew. I told Mikhaila about it and she was very
excited.
Kiddie Crew is a 5 day summer program for
kids age six to twelve. Registration fee is Php650 and this includes T- Shirt,
Cap, Apron, Bag, I.D, and 5 day meal for your kids. What’s good about this is
that at the end of the program, your child will be given a certificate of
completion.
Day 1: Orientation
One by one, kids were asked to go to the center of the room and introduce themselves, state their favorite colors and cartoon character. The Crew also demonstrated to the kids how to dance the Mcdonald's theme song.
Day 2: Order Taking
On the second day, the kids were oriented on different kinds of food Mcdo has to offer as well as the different sizes of the drinks and fries. After that, they were divided into two different groups, the first group was assigned to welcome the guests that came in, the second group had to take orders and serve them. After fifteen minutes, they were asked to rotate position so that both groups could experience the same tasks.

On the third day, each kid was asked to prepare for the talent performance. Some danced, some sang, some acted, some drew and there was one kid who was so talented, he created a dinosaur out of clay, in a span of less than five minutes.

Day 4: Burger Making
The third day, aprons were given out so that it can be used by the kids on their burger making session.

Finally, kids were awarded based on different categories; best in talent; most punctual, and of course, certificate of completion was distributed and awarded to the kids.
