It was our first Valentine's Day together and we knew that almost all restaurants in the city were fully booked. So, we thought, hey we need not go far to have a pleasant dinner.
There is this fine dining restaurant in Fairview named Casa Renato. Its classy, well decorated, dimly lit venue is a perfect place for couples or even family who simply wants to enjoy romantic and private dinner together. Each and every corner are carefully thought of and all the masterpiece are perfectly placed.
We ordered Mushroom Soup for starters and for our main course, Ox Tongue and Grilled Angus Bacon Steak. The meals were really filling and quite pricey but with the ambiance such as this, its quite reasonable.
I will never forget this night, it was a whirlwind of emotions.
Valentine's for many is a chance for your man to take you out in a fancy restaurant, give you bouquet of flower, give you expensive gift and treat you like a princess just like fairy tale. For me, its a celebration of appreciating the love you have for each other, treating each other extra special cause sometimes because we are all too caught of up with our busy schedules, we somehow forget to appreciate the little things our partner does to us.
I feel so blessed to have a wonderful partner who makes me feel like its Valentine's Day everyday. But at the end of it all, whether or not its a date in a fancy restaurant or us simply eating kwek-kwek along the street, its more than enough for me cause I know in his arms is where I perfectly want to be.
